WROCŁAW COMPANY RUN FOR THE EVEREST FOUNDATION
Everyone can help! Following this slogan, DIKO employees took part in the Wrocław company run on the 18th of May 2019. The purpose of the competition was to support the Everest foundation that took care of children and adolescents, aged 3-14, with Down Syndrome or suffering from muscle atrophy.
During the charity event, numerous attractions for adults and children were prepared. One of the most prominent was Gnome’s Run, offering as many as 800 starting spots for courageous children.
In the race, there were 5-person teams, including 3 teams from the DIKO company. The participants had to cover a distance of 5 km, and the route passed through the vicinity of the Wrocław Olympic Stadium. In total, the event attracted 10 thousand contestants, with the best result among DIKO employees achieved by Jacek Stryjski, who recorded the time of 21 minutes and 34 seconds, securing the 955th place.
